The Otherness US misprint

i was lucky enough to be in Amoeba Music in San Francisco this weekend, and spyed a used Otherness in the FSOL section (yes they actually had one), it was the printing on Psychobaby, but i was bummed when i played it back home. it's a pressing of The Isness, wrong artwork, wrong liner notes. did anyone else get the wrong disc?

I haven't heard of that happening (mind you, I don't think I've noticed anybody mention they have the Psychobaby pressing). Maybe worth emailing the label to see if it's a common problem?

Hmm I guess it's just a rarity i now own the trip wasn't a loss, also found the Abbey Road pressing of Isness was well, which I'm loving.

That's actually the misprint that first surfaced on the interwebs in 2001-2002 (if I remember correctly).. Psychobaby doesn't list it as a release on discogs.. indeed a rarity.

Uh, nm, scratch that, I read that you were talking about The Isness. It's NOT a rarity, in fact it's the only official release the album, besides the Isness & Otherness double. Sry, my bad.

I own the Psychobaby CD release of The Otherness. Bought it when it came out in the US so around 2004? It's the correct CD too. 14 tracks, ends with Toy Piano.

Strange. Your CD and case looks exactly like mine but somehow the cd is actually the Isness
