Edge Video Magazine interview - July 1992

Post by Ross »

Never seen this one before. Some interesting stuff - a release date for the 1992 reissue of Accelerator - plus some less interesting stuff - Brian's favourite programme is Prisoner Cell Block H. This is before the "we're bored of dance music" stage, one of the earliest interviews with them.

Brians worst nightmare is not being able to smoke a spliff? :D

Interesting to hear Lifeforms track playing in background when it was still 2 years until release.

'Lifeforms' was delivered to J&P at the start of 1992 - so probably recorded in 1991 - as the lead track on a Yage EP called New Life Forms. J&P thought it was too weird and wouldn't release it. It sounds so far ahead of everything they were doing at the time.

Yeah, remember have read something on your site :)
So wow, for 1991 this was a pretty pioneering piece of electronic music!
