The FSOL Message Board

As announced here (at around 2:08), Touched Music will be releasing a massive 11 CD boxset in November called Touched by Silence. The set will include a number of albums plus compilation discs featuring standalone tracks. Included are The Orb, Higher Intelligence Agency, Scanner, Locust, Mick Chillage, Antonyme, Atom Heart, Richard H. Kirk... and The Future Sound of London.
No official confirmation yet, but it appears that FSOL's contribution is likely to be a full CD's worth of material - and there is believed to be another FSOL-related track elsewhere in the box. More news as it comes in...

my guess is, on "Touched 10 cd boxset" there might be a FSOL compilation, something like "Life in Moments", waiting...

I have the feeling it might be something like that, yeah.

Looks like the date is going to be 13th December.

Very enthusiast about Apertures with our own Ross!! Bruv, you must be proud to work with Brian!! - following all developments of this new project

The FSOL CD in this incredible box is very promising - knew about A Controlled Vista since this very early summer but had to keep that for myself until now that the news have been released to public

Sorry, I'm a bit confused with this.

There's a 11 CD boxset with that FSOL album available, and what is the 2CD set?
Will the FSOL one be available via fsoldigital too?

Touched By Silence 11xCD boxset: 9CD are full albums by 9 artists, Fsol one is A Controlled Vista (or FSOLDigital presents A Controlled Vista). At the moment has been said that the Fsol CD will be available only as physical format in this box and there will be not digital downloads. So, likely, no fsoldigital availability (maybe, if the demand for it will be high... after the box is sold out....they could decide to put it on their site as digital download only...but none really know).
The other 2 CD of the box are a various artists compilation, featuring tracks by The Orb, H.I.A., Richard H Kirk to name a few. And of course, highly anticipated, Apertures's track by none than Brian Dougans and Ross Baker!!

On the contrary, this decision seems to suggest that FSOLDigital will do a download release of it at some point, rather than Touched. I can't imagine they really want only the 100 box purchases to listen to the album. But time will tell, there's no confirmation either way...
