Another person in agreement here. Considering the improvised nature of these pieces they are very immersive. It would lovely to hear more longer pieces that are more composed, like the EP version of My Kingdom. I really loved Environments 6 & 6.5 but they are kind of slippery when trying to remember which track is the one you want!

A beautiful Christmas present, and a lovely look into their headspace when it comes to coming up with ideas on the fly.

I've been jamming a bit myself with some gear lately and it's nice to connect and see what are quite frankly some of my musical heroes do the same thing.

Sculpting, shifting waveforms in flux can be such a good form of therapy for the mind. Makes me want to incorporate some of that gear into my setup next year.

I'm going to show these jamming sessions to a friend of mine. He'll get a buzz out of it.

The bottom right (Row 3 E) is the ever so lovely and weirdly discontinued Behringer BCR-2000

BCR-2000 !!! I have that - it was kinda horrible piece of hardware I must admit - but it was cool for a beginner like me :)

Correction - I have the BCD-2000 :)

The wheels were really glitchy and non-intuitive, also the software (that worked ONLY on 32-bit WinXP) was looking good, but glitchy as hell...

The knobs and the sliders were pretty spot-on (thinking back)...

Aha gotcha, just checked it out and had no idea that model existed, the knobs look identical to what's on the BCR though (which is pretty much all that's on it!). If I can find it at a decent price (and condition) I'd love to get their BCF model (motorised fader mixing unit)

Having a modified version of the BCR control surface makes using it in Ableton real nice:

(looks like my next job is to update the video players to html5)

Just imagine Minimally Conscious playing loud in a live setting, think the bass stabs would probably kill everyone. But what a way to die!
