Blu Mar Ten has some crazy valid points but those are some (special) cases -- involving piracy and stuff... If the piracy / internet wave renames your track - that new name stays forever :) well i guess the point i was trying to make was that people were correcting what they believed to be errors, ...

So I guess the question is: Is the file naming & id3 tags from Brian or Graham ? Well only in this particular case, as you happen to have easy access to the artist. More broadly that wouldn't be the case. Here's something for you to ponder. A couple of albums back whoever ripped the first pirat...

i think the point is intent. 99.999% of the time you can't have this open dialogue with a creator so you can't clarify how much was intended and how much you're projecting.
