The '2006 Edit' thing was a promotional thing, the tracks are often listed that way on Amazon and so on - but not on the sleeve. As for the 'original version' credits, these highlight the fact that the original version is on Lifeforms (or Accelerator or whatever), rather than the version represented...

After a night out, my playlist normally features the first third of an ambient track before I fall to sleep.
Might give it a go though.

"The Enhanced editions of 1-3 will be on FSOLdigital in download format fairly soon. There's no massive difference, as you guessed it's all the same tracks segued together to make those albums work better. There may be a little top and tailing to some of the tracks too."

Yes, the segues/'environments' tying the albums together as single works always made FSOL records stand out to me when I was first getting into music, and obviously influenced my own musical direction. I'm hoping this is indeed what these records are.

Mulleck Well hasn't been restored to Vol 2, either.

Listening to the Beatport samples, I'm going to guess this basically resolves the issue of the first three archives not seguing the tracks together. Why now, though?

The CD versions are the same as the 2007 FSOLDigital MP3s.
Enhanced I have not heard of other than the EBS track. I will email Graham.

Don't have the tracks with me at the minute, but my favourite was always the one with the vocals - are you concealed? or something, I think it featured on EBS2 with a different title.

If you compare this to their other recent release, Environments 4, there's just a hint of FSOL going more acoustic and Amorphous going more electronic, which is just weird...
