What mailing list? I've been buying stuff off fsoldigital for years and have never gotten anything but order confirmations.Ross wrote:Those who are on the mailing list will have received an email promoting this, which also reveals, staggeringly, that Walls of Thought was recorded in 1991.

Re: Electric Brainstorm 7
Just listening to this and the bit of Yage stuff at 58:00 in sounds very similar to the Gotye song "Somebody that I Used to Know" (released in 2011)

Electric Brain Stoms Vol. 5
Does anyone know where that monologue that's interspersed throughout the mix comes from?

Re: Help identifying show?
Mmm no idea, I guess it was just one of the aformentioned "six 3 hour shows for Kiss FM". Interesting that they chose a track by Leftfield (not sure of the title) at 1:05:29 that they ended up 'thieving' for Liquid Insects I looked through the tracklists for those shows and they don't see...

Help identifying show?
I found a FSOL show that was labelled as the KISS FM Transmission 1, but it doesn't correspond to the tracklist for that show. Does anyone know what this might be? It's about three hours and has Cyberface and Yage, so it's got to be pretty early. Soundcloud link.

Re: FSOL PC collection, finally
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that a lot of stuff that used to be available via those ftp links just aren't available anywhere anymore. It would be pretty magical for those of us who started collecting late to get access to the stuff that isn't for sale anywhere.

Re: Teachings from the Electronic Brain on Amazon
Sadly, I found out that the compilation had two songs from Rosses (Ross's? Ross'? IDK) compilations page, but totally missed the note saying that Subliminal Aura was the same as Stomach Acid.

Re: Teachings from the Electronic Brain on Amazon
Well, I'll hold off on buying it until there's no other albums with their material that I haven't heard then. I was a little skeptical after recently buying "Signed, Sealed and Delivered 2" and feeling burned that there was only one of their pieces on there that I hadn't heard instead of t...

Teachings from the Electronic Brain on Amazon
When I look at the track listing, it says that almost all the songs are 2006 edits, but the clips sound exactly the same as the album versions I already have. Is there actually anything new on this or is Virgin just cashing in on a compilation?

One of the nice things about digital music is that the players are relatively inexpensive and smaller than portable CD players. Do you guys object to ipods, zunes, fancy phones, etc. as music players?
