Re: What are you watching at the moment? (TV, DVD,whatever)
It's not just about space either, it tries to cover pretty much all known science.

Re: What are you watching at the moment? (TV, DVD,whatever)
I very rarely watch live TV, but the series Lucy and I are working through at the moment are Carl Sagan's Cosmos, Jonathan Creek and the 1980s version of The Twilight Zone.

Re: The Cartel
i'm pretty confused so this cartel thing is a new series.....but none of it borrowed music - it's all original AA music? and there are 2 volumes already about to drop? Not quite - the series is called Monstrous Bubble Soundtracks, the first two volumes are The Cartel. Future ones may be other types...

Finally heard the clips, looking forward to grabbing the EMS : Piano one the most, probably most up my street, but they all sound pretty nice. Going to try and locate money now.

Mmm, FSOL tents. I wear XS t-shirts, sadly.
Will be listening to this once I get online tomorrow/Saturday. Exciting stuff.

Re: Personal Round Two!
I suppose that I should add that we generally don't want children. Neither of us like children. There are lots of other political and social reasons which I shan't go into here as that never ends well, but when it boils down to it, it's not something either of us actually want to do. I've never had ...

Re: Same Songz
Sometimes a band loses inspiration and ends up re-writing old material without knowing it, which is when it becomes painful.
On the other hand, I actually prefer The Man in the Rain by Mike Oldfield to Moonlight Shadow, despite it being a massive ripoff.

Well my initial response was because it can appear a bit preachy - but we know yr not doing that. So all is good. Let's try not to take it further.

Re: Will we hear from the guys this year?
Enjoyed this one, it definitely has a lot more space to breathe than the others, which is a really good thing. Quite a moody track in its own way.
I still can't listen to the Paul Weller and Pop Levi mixes, but this is three in a row that I've liked now.

Re: Russia Orders Obama: Tell World About Aliens, Or We Will
Let's be scientific - it's not saying 'we are all aliens', it's saying 'some of life's raw ingredients may have originated in space'. Very different things.
(Sorry, I just hate it when science is misquoted)

Re: Same Songz
If you do something interesting or creative with it, then it's not a problem. Sampling goes from chart dance and hip-hop stuff that's literally taken another song and put a beat behind it, right through to FSOL who are probably the most creative users of samples there's ever been (and that's not the...

Well, it's on the autism spectrum so it varies from case to case, obviously some people have it worse than others. I'm definitely what's called high functioning. I've also had various friends and "friends" in the past who've told me (in supportive ways and nasty ways) of how I'm doing thin...

Also bearing in mind that I have Asperger's, I'm not sure I'd actually be able to give my kid any time. New FSOL album vs. kid's first day at school - FSOL would win, nobrainer. Ha.
