I'm sorry to hear about your grandma. I hope she's in a better place. Now all we can do is be there for those around us. Things may seem linked but don't read too much in to them otherwise it's a never ending spiral. Look for the good that comes out of life!

Nope, you're all being paranoid. I was just feeling stoopid for not realizing Tryptych was abroad, hence the post having a funny time. Calling things a fail is what all the kids do now apparently. Back to the Fsoldigital merch, I picked up a medium but it's huge. It is also so long I could wear it a...

Re: Elysium
Wait, what was different about District 9? It started off good enough but descended into standard explosions and heartstring-tugging genre by the middle. If they could have kept up with the satire/social commentary from the beginning. How was it a new kind of film making?

Breaking Bad season 5. Although we're having a hard time getting motivated to finish it. They could have left it at Season Four. I don't need every loose end explained and tied up.

Re: Personal Round Two!
see, that's the tragedy, that you wont even bother with starting a family yet because the outlook is so bleak. soon having kids is going to be seen as the preserve of the rich, just wait.
reminds me of the Orbital track, Forever, with that great speech about idiotic mankind.

Wow, that's some heavy stuff you've been dealing with. you're made of strong stuff! i agree with you about marriage. as long as the two of you are in balance over it then it's not a problem. ultimately it's a social concept. arguably good for safeguarding womens rights in some circumstances

Re: Personal Round Two!
I used to feel exhausted after my son was born. I remember leaving the house and driving and feeling like I had a cloud of tiredness hanging over my head for most of the day. After a few months I started exercising regularly and the difference, when the effects kicked in, was amazing. it's great bei...

ah well, then in that case congrats are to Pande at this stage. although it's cool how someone 3000 miles away on an internet forum can be considered pushy - just shows how close we all are on this board, and just try and give our two cents because we care. Anyhoo, what happened about the meetup? I'...

Re: Personal Round Two!
Congrats on the second one Seedy! my thoughts: I regret having waited until my late thirties to have kids. i thought my playtime would be over. It's true, your priorities do change, but it becomes the right thing to do somehow. I also thought I would love having kids but 'love' doesn't really cut it...
