Re: Noel Gallagher/AA album thread

thought is you haven't LIVED yet without taking a psychedelic journey! I wouldn't go that far.. I definitely don't encourage the use of any illegal substances. Someone wise said that everyone get's a "psychedelic" (don't really like that term) experience once in their life, be they conscious of it ...

Re: Noel Gallagher/AA album thread

I was talking about musical taste in general - rarely I've met people who really enjoy FSOL that haven't done psychedelics. And if some do, it's usually the more dance-y tracks like PNG. That said, FSOL gives me an instant "flashback" into that space, a bit like Floyd does. When I put Dead Cities on...

Re: Noel Gallagher/AA album thread

It's all about "drugs" my friends :) On more serious note, I really enjoyed the first two Oasis records (did I mention that already?). They used to be on the Creation Records that had many other good bands like Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine etc. and was a more of an underground label. Maybe Oasis ju...

Re: Gaz writes in Mojo on Pink Floyd

I'm a huge Floyd fan.. at one point I listened to them ad nauseam, so I lost the taste for them a bit. I think there's time for all kinds of music, and there are definitely times I don't like listening to PF. For me, it's onward from TDSOTM to Division Bell (which I think is a great album). It's a j...

Re: Akkya - Abandoned Future Perfect

Really nice stuff, very FSOLish. I love the track that begins around 52 mins. I hope you get this stuff released. Many other good tunes on this.

Good luck!

Re: How did you feel the first time you saw this ....

I thought it was very convenient.. like some strange hippie continuation to the Dead Cities-era. I always thought it was kinda funny for people to still wait for some kind of sequel to DC after those years. Maybe after 4 years, but in 6 years time just passed it by.. The time between DC and those pr...

Re: Where did everything go? I hate you, I hate you, I hate

maybe it's having trouble reading the css stylesheet Ah yes, I was using Chrome.. seems like I'm having a problem even replying with it, so I guess I have to stick to Firefox when using this site. Shame, since Chrome is about twice as fast and way lighter.. EDIT: I'm now using Opera, seems to be wo...

Looking good mang, but you might wanna turn down the font size/scaling/whatever a little, looks kinda stretched on my old, crappy 1280 reso flatty. ;)

Otherwise, great improvement and working fast as hell. Looking forward to this new board. Cheers.
