Re: The Orb - Chill Out World

There is promotion video of making of 'Moonbuilding 2703 AD. You can see that Fehlmann is making music, and Paterson is just playing records (DJing). And that's how they work look like. I've never seen any picture where Paterson plays any kind of instrument - only DJing. However he claims that piano...

Re: The Orb - Chill Out World

I would actually be really interested to hear a Paterson only track - Just flicked though the entire album back catalogue and couldn't find a single release that appeared to be by just him. They're almost all seem to be either a Fehlmann and/or Hughes and/or Weston co-project ! There is only one: &...

Re: The Orb - Moonbuilding 2703 AD

Moon Quake (Slice Of Silver) - has a sample from Bucephalus Bouncing Ball by Aphex Twin :) -- the last two versions of Moon Quake sound like they came of something very similar to the SAW collections by AFX, or some very early trippy Orb stuff... You listen to it on repeat and didn't notice that 'L...

no ozric segued stuff off the top of my head sure woulda been great tho! There aren't many segued Ozric tracks: 'Kick Muck/Agog in the Ether' from 'Pungent Effulgent' (1989) 'Yog-Bar-Og/Arborescence' from 'Arborescence' (1994) 'Ahu Belahu/Ghedengi' and 'Become the Other/Vibuthi' from 'Become the Ot...

Re: Pande-reviews: 1996.2 (FSOL - Dead Cities)

I've literally never met a music fan, no matter what genre of music the fan was into, that didn't like this album. Well, there is one. I don't like this album. The only good tracks on it are Herd Killing, We Have Explosive, Yage and My Kingdom. Every other track is boring as hell, especially 'Every...

Re: Pande-reviews: 1993.5 (Kiss 5)

06:58 King Crimson - The Sheltering Sky - (EG / Polydor, 1981) - I'm probably the only person here who thinks King Crimson are better than Pink Floyd and largely overlooked... allthough, listening to Floyd lately, I'd say these two bands are very different and shouldn't even be compared. No, you're...

Re: Pande-reviews: 1993 (Kiss Transmission 2)

Ok, I'm after the rehearsal of both Test Transmissions and first 2 Transmissions. The only thing I was able to recognize is at Test Transmission 2 at Infonet Mix:

127:18 - The Orb - U.F.Orb (bandulu remix) - it lasts till the end of the mix.

Mr. Codringher - I don't know you since you're new here - but I already like you a lot :) Nice work on the new finds :) ;-) Thanks!! I've been around for some time, but I was only reading. I'm big Orb fan, so it's easy for me to find Orb snippets here and there. (I even run Orb-related site: http:/...
