Wasn't it that Gaz learned guitar playing during his madman rambling phase after '97 when he turned into a hippie?
On the other hand the guy in the video actually doesn't play really, so maybe its him.

Re: Stakker - Eurotechno (the whole video)
The guy on keyboards is 'B-Dog' I suppose? Or did they hire another dude for stage performing? It's hard to recognize on the video, but a Mr. Dougans doing a live performance is actually a rather unusual view.

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
I can also imagine that most stuff on the album (as well as on E4 maybe) is combined old/new on single tracks, I mean like Ross mentioned, the basic track from outer heaven for example is from Lifeforms era with some piano soloing from Mr. Pemberton mixed over it. 'Temples' could be also something n...

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
My first association of the title of the second bonus track was something out of a fantasy or scifi novel.

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
Only FSOL manage to make a gunshot sound dreamy. To be heard in 'Temples'.
The album grew on me immensly during the last days, I would it now rank it on the same level as the last two archives, if not even better.
'Shifting Sands' is the killer.

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
Following on from the runaway success of our Archives series, and at the request of its many fans, we have produced a seventh volume of archive pictures and commentaries! I wonder how many of these 'fans' were just misguided FSOL-fans lured by the cheap prize of only 1.75 per item. After repea...

Re: Free Orb/Lee Perry mix
Hey, just found out the new Orb album to be a real fun thing to listen to. Fehlmann delivers solid dope beats as always, and Perrys vocals fitting very well, they add just like another sound to the music. Nice, flowing, unpretentious, and waaay better than their previous attempts in reggae-music. Al...

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
I wonder why they've changed the title of Tudor Oak. And 'Saigon' from the fsoldigital mail turned to 'Flygon' on the CD Inlay. Strange. Sounds all a bit like misunderstandings through bad mobile phone connections or something. Maybe someone said that the last track on the album was exchanged, and ...

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
Ok, think I´ll give a short review of the album, if it really is that I´m the first one listening to this. The album starts with a kind of an 'Overture' piano and string led thing, not unlike the beginnings of the last two Environments. The second track is one of my favourites of the whole cd, remin...

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
Ok, I couldn't resist. Just bought the album. Fuck those bonus tracks. My first impressions: strange. weird. hallucinogenic. With the exception of War Machines which is a Quagmire remix, Flygon which is known from ebs7 and Tudor Oak/Exchanges I didn't recognize any familiar stuff yet. It's not as 'c...

Hm, I always thought you get automaticly on the mailing list when you order something from them. Maybe deactivate your spam filter, the mails I receive from them always land in my spam folder.

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
"...only to be lost shortly afterwards (because the multitracks were was buried under a pile of equipment in a box, in a store room) to resurface 21 years later." Haha, funny insight on how they don't seem to stop coming up with "new" old material. This is exactly the kind of con...

Re: From the Archives 7 out November 19th
"Is that what they do literally all day every day?" Not sure of course, but from 93' up to the end of millenium the sheer quantity of tracks they must have produced in that time is in fact simply breathtaking. I guess it's just the same with AA from 2002 up to today, if it happens one day ...
