Re: Enofa - Life's Too Short to Watch the Cremaster Cycle out now

How many parts did you see? I think the whole thing is about five hours. I gave up at some point.

I made an abridged version for more sensible people. It's called Life's Too Short to Listen to Life's Too Short to Watch the Cremaster Cycle .

Re: Pande-reviews: 2009.0 (FSOL - EBS Vol.4)

There’s a small but notable number of ‘90s tracks which sound like they could have come from a live band rather than an electronic duo. Far-out Son of Lung, Smokin Japanese Babe and Snake Hips are probably the most obvious, but also My Kingdom, Her Face Forms in Summertime, Glacier, Sendoro Luminoso ...

Re: Max Richter article

It’s quite nice that they always get name checked in articles about Richter.

It’s a shame Max has only created one decent record in the past 15 years, though. There’s an artist who thrived off of limitations, his early albums for Fatcat did loads of really interesting stuff with string quartet and ...

You’re only proving my point. Instead of discussing the SGI rendering or Olaf Wendt’s specific credits on the sleeve, you’re still stuck on a grammar audit. I’m here to talk about the art; you seem more interested in policing the text.

I think what Pete meant was, the quote looked like it had ...

Re: Multiple Angle Distortions pre order

Ha that’s really cool! And yeah, there’s a fair amount of stuff from E7 and these EPs - and a lot of calendar tracks - that’s very low on melody. It’s still there, but buried in the mix and explicitly not the focus.

This is something I know nanio-tine, who posts here, has spoken about before ...

Re: Fractional Difference - Exploring FSOL song-by-song

I don’t think YouTube does totals for playlists, annoyingly. But yeah, I reckon when I’m done (episode 82), it’ll probably be about two full days.

Re: Multiple Angle Distortions pre order

Interesting. While stuff like 7 Songs and Sweet Acid Sound are definitely a light year from FSOL, I’d say there are tracks like ‘Intermodal Container’, ‘Tiny Machine Birth’, ‘Static Objective’ and others which would fit very comfortably on recent FSOL albums. While I don’t think Multiple Angled ...

Olaf was responsible for creating the 3D spike model, the rest of the art was by Buggy and the band.

Re: Multiple Angle Distortions pre order

Hello and welcome!

I suppose I was talking about the entire FSOLDigital output - at one point, every album felt like a major move forwards, but this decade there’s been a lot less of that. Certainly by FSOL standards, Multiple Angled Distortions is a pretty different sounding EP, but in context of ...

Re: FSOLDigital Calendar

2026 Calendar begins today.

January's track is Lower Heights, lovely stuff, very textural, atmospheric, lots of crumbly noises, twinkly melodic bits, good start to the year.

Another absolutely excellent video Imogen! this series has pretty much become my main soundtrack at work since I found your channel.
There is a spectacular amount of dedication on display throughout these,
they're very much appreciated!

Thank you - glad you've been enjoying!
