And as with everyone else, I always want to reply to that with "no, but my voice is really annoying" haha. I'm glad I come across well, anyway, that makes this whole thing a lot easier!
Episode 2 covers the remaining parts of the Humanoid saga:

Re: Record Store Day 2024 - ISDN and From the Archives
You shouldn’t even be able to - they don’t have the rights to sell digital versions of the Virgin catalogue.

Re: Record Store Day 2024 - ISDN and From the Archives
Checking the official charts page, ISDN reached number 13 in the dance album charts last week. Rituals and Life in Moments have also charted in the past, obviously also via RSD. Makes you wonder how well their other records would chart if FSOLDigital could report to the official charts company.

Re: Record Store Day 2024 - ISDN and From the Archives
For those who stream, ISDN is available now. The tracks are wrongly labelled, of course (black as 1-15 with Kai, Amoeba and Snake Hips listed at the end, even though it plays correctly) because it wouldn’t be an FSOL release without at least one fuckup.

Re: Fractional Difference - Exploring FSOL song-by-song
Thank you - no, this is the first time I’ve done anything of the mind outside of hosting a bit of online radio. I can’t hear anything but how annoying I find my own voice haha. Sadly my long covid means I can’t talk for all that long - I did a couple of these in one go and had such a sore throat I c...

Re: Fractional Difference - Exploring FSOL song-by-song
Started a YouTube series of this, called it Earth Beat Visions as that seems a little less vague than Fractional Difference. Some, like this, will be fairly straight readings of the blog, others will have new bits and bobs in them.

Re: FSOLDigital Calendar
Been giving the 2023 album a proper listen lately, really enjoying this one. Nice amount of acoustic percussion and field recordings in there which is always up my street. Vertical Reflections has to be a dead cert for the next Music from Calendars comp if one comes along.

Re: Record Store Day 2024 - ISDN and From the Archives
I'm guessing that the decision to add new/different material, or else putting it together differently, is what is impacting the decision to remaster or not. With both Tales and ISDN, there have been changes made (Tales adding the additional material, ISDN putting the material together differently t...

Re: Record Store Day 2024 - ISDN and From the Archives
It’s been remastered for digital/CD and vinyl, I think by Matt Colton again who did a good job on Tales last year.

Re: Record Store Day 2024 - ISDN and From the Archives
Not everyone has the black edition (over on Facebook I still come across people who don’t even know it exists!) and those tracks have been out of print for 30 years, so that seems like a pretty good reason for this to exist. And it’s remastered for those interested in that. The Lifeforms and Dead Ci...

Re: FSOLDigital Calendar
Fascinating take on it - agree that it feels like it could be the first half of the track... my guess is the outro was considered the strongest part and returned to later. Also, 12th January 2012 - really only a few weeks before the album was announced. Really enjoyable, anyway. I always love the st...
