Re: Fractional Difference - Exploring FSOL song-by-song
Yeah, 2017 feels like a bit of a turning point, maybe the point where things began to get overwhelming, so it'll be nice to have a listen to some of these records again as I work through them.
It's interesting to see my YouTube stats for all this - the '90s ones all have between 500 and 6,000 views ...

October is '20.06 17th july 2017' - some familiar sounds but not what I'd expect from Music for 3 Books-era on the whole.

Re: Mind Maps 6
It's an alternate remix of Heogen's 'Autumn Twilight' from earlier in the album.Yage wrote: Fri Sep 19, 2025 6:43 pm The last track on the CD release has a hidden track.
Does anybody recognize it? Or what remix this could be?

Re: All purpose reissues thread - latest: SX One Live Improvisations
At 1hr17m, this is now the longest individual FSOL album since Lifeforms (A:E:V is... hard to define).
It's kind of a shame about the title(s) and cover, if this was just marketed as a 'conventional' FSOL album it'd be so exciting.

Re: All purpose reissues thread - latest: Trip Maps
Yes - five tracks on the vinyl edition.
Wouldn’t say the original was an EP, it’s 45 minutes which is only a minute or two shorter than some of their albums.

Re: All purpose reissues thread - latest: Trip Maps
Tracks can be bought for £1.50 each. I haven’t bought it yet but my guess is Northern Point is an edit of the version on Multiple Angled Distortions, so the three additional tracks would only cost you £4.50.
edit: no, Northern Point is a very different mix.
